Privacy statement

By means of this privacy statement, WAHI provides information about the processing of personal data taking place within WAHI International B.V. and its affiliated entities (hereinafter: “WAHI”).

Consciously or unconsciously you are sharing personal data with us, such as your name, email address and telephone number. WAHI processes your personal data because you are using our services and/or because you have provided this data to us yourself. We think it is important that your personal data is handled carefully. That is why in this privacy statement we have set out how we handle your personal data and notify you of your rights. If after reading this privacy statement you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us on: po@WAHI.nl.

In this privacy statement, we explain how we handle your privacy.

What are we using your data for?

To be permitted to process personal data we have to be able to rely on a legal ground. We rely on the following legal grounds:
Necessary for the performance of the agreement. WAHI processes the data for the service provision, for example to communicate, answer questions, issue offers, process orders in WAHI’s webshop, deliver products and services and invoice. WAHI can also process the data to carry out accounts receivables and accounts payable checks.
Compliance with a statutory obligation. WAHI processes the data to comply with the applicable laws and regulations.
Legitimate interest. This could include the improvement of the service provision, providing information about WAHI’s products and services, marketing and sales and to analyse, maintain, protect and optimise our website, webshop and accompanying technologies.
Permission of the data subject, when subscribing to the newsletter or including (additional) data in “My WAHI” for example.
Cookies

WAHI uses (technical) functional, analytical and tracking cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. WAHI uses these cookies to ensure that the website works properly and that your preference settings are remembered for example. We also place cookies to track your surfing behaviour.

The placement of particular cookies requires your permission before such cookies may be used. This permission is only required for tracking cookies with which WAHI can monitor your surfing behaviour. Your permission is not required for the use of other (technical-functional and analytical) cookies. You can at all times withdraw your permission for cookies by changing your internet settings. You can find more information on how to turn cookies off and on and on how to remove cookies in the Help function of your browser.

You will find a list of the cookies we use in our cookie statement.

Google Analytics

WAHI uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). In this context, our website will be analysed in order to count the number of visitors and report on which pages are visited most often for example. This allows us to improve our website and our service provision. Google Analytics uses cookies to carry out the technical analysis and for technical support. We have entered into an agreement with Google Analytics to process data and have turned off the “share data”, meaning they will not use the data for their own purposes. The data stored includes your IP-address (from which the last byte will be removed), the number of pages visited, the time and duration of the visit, your location, the origin of the visit, the type of hardware and software used, interaction with the visitor and your search history. The obtained data will be transferred to Google and stored by Google on servers in the United States; a country offering a level of data protection not equivalent to that of the European Union. This means that we do not use other Google services in combination with cookies of Google Analytics.

How long do we keep your data?

WAHI does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected and we observe the law and regulations in this respect.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Your personal data can be exchanged and combined within WAHI International B.V. and its entities. WAHI will not sell your data to third parties and only provides such if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation. We enter into a processor’s agreement with companies which process your data on our instruction, in order to guarantee the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. WAHI remains responsible for this processing.

We have a small number of services and performances carried out by carefully selected and representative service providers based outside the EU (IT-service providers for example). In that case there will be a transfer to a third country. The legal requirements relating to data protection regulations are then used as a basis to contractually record a suitable data protection level with the service provider to this end. This includes standard contracts of the EU.

Personal data protection

WAHI takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes suitable measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via info@wahimold.com.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

We do not intend to collect data of website visitors who are younger than 16 years unless permission to this end has been granted by the parents or guardian. We are however unable to check whether a visitor is older than 16. If you suspect that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@wahimold.com and we will remove this information.

Links to other websites

The website may contain links to other websites This privacy statement only applies to WAHI’s website. Other websites may apply their own privacy policy. We recommend that you always consult the relevant privacy statement of those other websites before you use them.

Automated decision-making

WAHI does not make decisions on the basis of automated processing on issues that may have (substantial) consequences for people.

Changing the privacy policy

WAHI adjusts its privacy policy from time to time to keep it up-to-date. The website will always contain the most recent version of our privacy statement. WAHI therefore recommends that you regularly consult the privacy statement. In the event of important changes, WAHI will do everything possible to notify you by email or via the websites.

Inspecting, correcting or removing data

You have the right to inspect, correct or remove your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by WAHI and you have a right to data portability.

You can also send a request for inspection, correction, removal or data transfer or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@wahimold.com. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, at the latest within four weeks. WAHI would like to point out that you have the option to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority [Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens] about our processing of your personal data. You can contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens to this end.

My WAHI

We also process personal data in WAHI’s webshop. After registering and logging into WAHI’s web portals via “My WAHI”, the stored information can be viewed under “My details”.
